Our first meeting will be the "intake".

It is where we start to get to know each other, and sense if we would like to work together.

It is always possible that I am not the right counsellor for you, or for the matters you wish to discuss.


How can you prepare for this first conversation?

It is definitely worthwhile to define for yourself what you would like the outcome to look like.

What do you need most? Are you setting yourself any goals? What are your expectations?


Additionally, you can - if you wish to - prepare by taking the survey below that best fits  your goals and situation. Are you going through conflict? Going through grief? Or both?

Answering a survey can help you structure your thoughts and become aware of your feelings.
